1. Controller
Geodach Sàrl, Chemin des Vassaux 2c, 1297 Founex, Switzerland, is responsible for processing personal data on geodach.ch.
2. Data we process
When you visit the site, technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, date and time, and security or error information may be recorded in server logs. A language-preference cookie may be stored. When you use the contact form, we process your selected area of interest, name, organisation, email address and message. We also process correspondence that follows from your inquiry.
3. Purposes
We process this data to deliver and secure the website, remember language preferences, detect errors or misuse, respond to inquiries, discuss our services and partnerships, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use this company website for behavioural advertising.
4. Service providers and recipients
The site is hosted by Vercel. Contact-form messages are transmitted through Resend and delivered to our email service. These providers process data on our behalf to supply hosting, security and email-delivery services. We may also disclose data where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Processing abroad
Our service providers may process data in Switzerland, the European Economic Area, the United States and other countries in which they operate. Where a destination does not provide an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, in particular recognised standard contractual clauses, or on an applicable legal exception. Contact-form email delivery through Resend involves processing in the United States. Resend’s published data-processing addendum includes standard contractual clauses and provisions for Swiss transfers. The mailbox receiving inquiries is admin@geoda.ch.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above. Server logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s operational and security cycles. Inquiry correspondence is retained while the matter or business relationship remains relevant and thereafter where statutory retention periods or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require it.
7. Your rights
Subject to the requirements of Swiss data-protection law, you may request information about your personal data and ask us to correct, delete or provide it, or object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data. No internet transmission or storage system can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when our data processing or the law changes. The version published here is the current version.
Optional Google Analytics
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand visits to geodach.ch. Google receives page views, cookie identifiers and technical browser/device information; your IP address is transmitted when connecting to Google. Google may process this data in the United States. We measure successful contact inquiries as lead events, without sending their contents. For traffic-source reporting, we send only approved referring website domains (without paths or queries) and approved campaign source/medium labels. Campaign names are sent only if explicitly approved in our configuration. All other URL parameters and fragments are excluded. Advertising signals and automatic form tracking are disabled. Analytics cookies expire after 180 days, subject to renewal during use. Your choice is saved in this browser for 180 days. You can refuse or withdraw consent through Analytics settings in the footer; withdrawal stops future collection and removes this site’s Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already collected. To request access or deletion, contact us using the details below. Google Analytics is configured to retain user and event data for two months without extending that period on new activity. This setting does not apply to standard aggregated reports. This is separate from the 180-day browser cookie and consent-choice duration.
